The 1.5cm tall boxwood spiral tree comes in a black plastic growers pot ready to be buried into your existing pot and covered with woodchip, pebbles or dirt.  It has a real trunk and looks extremely effective wherever it is placed whether outside on a balcony, at an entrance door or on a verandah. We do recomend placing this tree out of direct sunlight as it will fade long term in direct sun.
